It's Random Time!
I love video games. I own a Nintendo GameCube (given by my brother-in-law), a PlayStation 2 (given by my brother) and a Nintendo DS.
About the Author
My name is Julie Delisle. I'm a 23-year-old human with fully-functionning female fenitalia genitalia. I identify myself as bisexual; basically, I am attracted to individuals for their own selves without gender-based restrictions.
I currently live in Montreal, Canada, in a lovely flat, with my sister, her opposite-sex partner, their two children, their cat and my own cat.
My cat is named Béatrice. My father and I are pretty much the only people in the world she isn't afraid of.
Instead of providing you with a lengthy account of my personal life, I give you some random tidbits that will be chosen randomly whenever you reload this page.
About the Site
This site is my little home on the web. Blogs are the one of the big things right now, but I have own a personal site since around 2003, back when Geocities and Angelfire were not only available services, but normal ones.
The site's name comes from my cat. A typical nickname for small female animals and young girls, in French, is "puce", which means "flea". My brother-in-law would call my cat that when she still a tiny kitten. I found it rather common, so I started calling her "puceron" instead. A puceron is an aphid (plant lice). By adding the suffix -ie, I create a fake place name (in French), and this is how I tend to call my home. As this is my home on the web, why not give it the same name? So, yes, you are viewing a site called Aphidia.
My blog makes no attempt to concentrate on a single topic, but is a place where I discuss everything I want: things I love, things I hate, things that catch my attention, things that preoccupy me. While it is in no way an "adult website"&emdash;it provides no things such as porn or ultraviolence&emdash;, it is also not aimed at children. I do not censure myself and will curse and discuss "mature" topics.
I encourage anyone to join in by commenting on my blog posts, but I also reserve the right to delete any comment deemed inappropriate. In all my years as a blogger, however, I've only ever had to delete actual spam.
I am not the federal government of the United States, so if you post a comment and I delete it for any reason, being outraged that I am infringing on your right for free speech will only make me laugh. By all means, do feel free to speak your mind, but do so in a manner that does not encourage hatred, prejudice or violent behavior.
